CHARACTERISTICS
 
You have two possibilities to mount the front belt. For both you need two Heavy-Duty plastic (mouse) necklaces.
Remove the belt from the metal buckle and attach it around the legs, fixed under the triple-clamp yokes. Reinsert the straps through the buckles and make sure it is locked. You can catch the free end with the included elastic loop. To ensure that it will not move up and down, you must use the plastic collars in one of the following ways. The first method is to insert the necklace through the small loop near the metal buckle. Close the collar after you tighten it around the leg above the lower triple-clamp yoke (this method is illustrated on the 'Haul Loop' page). The second method is to use two collars attached to each other in the form of the figure 8 through the back of the headlamp / headlight protection (this method is also illustrated). This second grip is preferable because you can fine tune the angle at which the belt sits by reducing the length of the plastic clips. The shorter the grip, the higher it will stay.
